A free, appropriate public education

An Education in a mainstream school environment

Prompt resolution of disputes regarding educational placement

No isolation or stigmatizing due to homelessness

Provide the same services offered to other students

Participation in federal, state, and local food programs (if criteria are met

Continued education in the school of origin or school most accessible, whichever is in the best interest of the child

Consider parental requests in determining school assignments
