Gifted - Transfer Students

Transfer Process for Students Coming from Another Florida District with Gifted Eligibility

Enroll in your assigned school.

Present a copy of your student's current Education Plan (EP) prior to being assigned to gifted classes.

After verification of the Education Plan (EP), your child will begin receiving services.

A liaison will contact you to create an Education Plan (EP) for Santa Rosa County District Schools.

Transfer Process for Students Coming from Out of State with Gifted Eligibility

As of April 2017, students with gifted eligibility from another state can access gifted services in Florida.

Upon enrollment at the new school, you must provide a copy of your student's Education Plan or a comparable state-approved document.

After reviewing and verifying the document, the student will be eligible for gifted services.
