As a lifelong native of Santa Rosa County, Kimi attended Santa Rosa Schools from kindergarten until graduating from Milton High School in 1994. She married her “high school sweetheart”, Kelly, and they are the proud parents of two children, Brodie (19) and Piper (11). Kimi left a 12-year career in banking to pursue her desire for making a difference in the lives of youth in her community. Growing up in a lower income family, she's always had the heart for helping youth who need it the most. Kimi has been a classroom teacher, coach, and a teacher on special assignment for Workforce Education. In her current role as Student Intervention Specialist, she serves justice involved students, providing them with academic, social, behavioral, and emotional support. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach or out in nature, as well as watching time-period dramas and investigative series. “I absolutely love my job and working with at-risk youth for our school district! It brings me great joy to know that I've made an influential differnece in the lives of others.”

A Florida native, Paula grew up in Pensacola and graduated from Pensacola High School. She married her husband, Victor, in 1989, and they have both been educators for the Santa Rosa District School District for their entire careers. Paula has been a teacher, coach, and guidance counselor, and she currently serves justice involved students, providing them with academic, social, behavioral, and emotional support. Both Paula and her husband currently live in Bagdad, Florida, and are parents of two adult sons, Landry (28) and Ben (26 ). In her spare time, Paula enjoys writing in coffee shops, spending time with her Daschund puppy, and visiting her favorite beaches. Her favorite motto for working with justice involved students is from C. S. Lewis who wrote, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
