The fastest way to get information on your student’s current school bus location is through the SafeStop App. Please use the SafeStop Info link to learn more.
Your bus stop may have changed. When searching for your stop, choose the closest stop to your home address.
Board Policy 8.31 sets the reasonable walking distance as 2 miles from the school. Florida Department of Education Policy 6A-3.001(3) further sets the reasonable walk zone as one and one-half (1 1/2) miles between the home and the assigned bus stop.
As a courtesy, the transportation department will make every effort to shorten the walk zones as listed below, however may not be able to do so in all cases.
Grades K – 5: up to 1/2 mile (Kindergarten parents/guardians need to be at the bus stop location with photo ID for drop-off and pick-up).
Grades 6 – 12: up to 1 mile.
