Applying for the Head Start and Early Head Start Program

APPLICATION FOR EARLY HEAD START (2 YEAR OLD) AND HEAD START (3-4 YEAR OLD)

Before applying, please read the information on the **HOME PAGE** of the Head Start/Early Head Start section of the web site.
There are two application options, complete ONLY the ONE that applies to your family.

Head Start staff will review your application and call you to set up an interview to complete the application process.

Please be patient. We are currently receiving many applications. We will call you back as soon as we get to your application in the process.

FAMILY PREVIOUSLY APPLIED

If you HAVE completed an application for Head Start/Early Head Start in SRCDS in the past, even if your child was not enrolled in the program, please complete this application.

There are three parts to this application. Please click the link provided at the end of each section.

FIRST TIME APPLICANT

This application is for new families to apply for 2024-25 School Year. To submit a complete application you must complete STEP ONE and STEP TWO. Once you complete STEP ONE (Child Plus Application), please return to this page and complete STEP TWO.

Use this application if you have NEVER applied for Head Start/Early Head Start in SRCDS. Once you complete this STEP ONE application, you MUST return to this page and complete STEP TWO.

First time applicants MUST complete STEP ONE and TWO. Step two includes two separate parts. A complete application will include; Application Addendum and complete a Developmental Checklist for each child you are applying for. Be sure to click on any links that appear at the end of a section.
