District Schools Officials have been in close contact with the Santa Rosa Emergency Management Office and National Weather Service of Mobile regarding the development of a Hurricane Milton.
At this time, we do not anticipate any weather entering our area. However, we are actively monitoring the weather. If anything changes, we will notify our families. Please know, the safety of our students and staff continues to be our top priority.
We are currently conducting tests to our safety notification systems and performing lockdown drills at select schools across the district today, Friday, October 4. Please be advised these are just drills.
