Records Disposition

Duplicates/copies: shredded by each dept. and are not required to be documented. However ensure you know where the Record Copy is kept prior to disposition of copies.

Record Copy: Must be documented on disposition form and clearance given that no public records requests or litigation is pending on them. Check with the Surplus dept. prior to disposition of Record Copies.
