Santa Rosa County District Schools is pleased to partner with Florida Prepaid to offer two deserving high school seniors the chance to earn a 2-Year Florida College Plan Scholarship valued at approximately $8,000. Please take a look at the guidelines below and don’t miss out on a chance to create an additional pathway for your child’s future.
In partnership with Florida Prepaid College Savings Plans and the Santa Rosa County School District, two 2-Year Florida College Plan Scholarship valued at approximately $8,000 will be awarded to two seniors graduating from one of SRCDS’s public high schools.
This scholarship will cover tuition and other specified fees for 60 lower division semester credit hours at any of the 28 Florida public colleges. Although the Plan is designed to be used at a Florida College, the Plan can also be used at a State University and pro-rated accordingly. Plans can also be used at in-state, out-of-state, public, or private schools around the country; the value paid to other schools is the same as Florida Prepaid would have paid to a Florida school based on the student’s plan type. The student will have six years to use the plan.

counselor’s recommendation form
Response to essay must be typed – Essay Title - Receiving This Scholarship Would Change the Trajectory of My Future
CRITERIA
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• No pattern of discipline issues
• Proven characteristics of leadership, community service, and academic success
•Completed application package due March 5, 2024– NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED. Applications will be available February 1 - March 5, 2024.
