In partnership with Florida Prepaid College Savings Plans and the Santa Rosa County School District, two 2-Year Florida College Plan Scholarship valued at approximately $8,000 will be awarded to two seniors graduating from one of SRCDS’s public high schools.
This scholarship will cover tuition and other specified fees for 60 lower division semester credit hours at any of the 28 Florida public colleges. Although the Plan is designed to be used at a Florida College, the Plan can also be used at a State University and pro-rated accordingly. Plans can also be used at in-state, out-of-state, public, or private schools around the country; the value paid to other schools is the same as Florida Prepaid would have paid to a Florida school based on the student’s plan type. The student will have six years to use the plan.
GUIDELINES
- DEADLINE TO APPLY: March 5, 2024
- Applicant must be a Santa Rosa County resident enrolled in a SRCDS public high school.
- Applicant must be on track to graduate in May 2024 with plans to attend a post-secondary college or university to continue their education.
CRITERIA
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• No pattern of discipline issues
• Proven characteristics of leadership, community service, and academic success
•Completed application package due March 5, 2024– NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED. Applications will be available February 1 - March 5, 2024.
