Be Counted

Military and federally-connected parents, you can help make a difference for our schools.

How are impact aid funds used?

Impact Aid funds directly impact your child’s education by providing funding to replace the loss of property tax revenue that can be used for everyday expenses such as materials, equipment, teachers, special education programming, and building improvements, as part of the general budget of the district.

Why is your survey important?

The amount of funds the school district receives is based on the number of Impact Aid Surveys returned. When received, review the survey carefully to decide if your work or living situation applies to the survey. Then, complete, sign, and return to your child’s school the next day. All information provided is used to support our request for federal funds under the Impact Aid Program.
