Safe Schools

The Santa Rosa County School District receives a categorical funding from the state that is called Safe School Funds. It is through the use of these funds that the district provides the SRO Program. The School Resource Officer Program in all middle and high schools of the District is in partnership with the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Department and the Gulf Breeze Police Department.

This program provides officers who work on-site at the schools to assist in providing a safer school environment. They also provide educational experiences through interaction in classes with students.
