Get Bookkeeper to Email for APRROVAL TO PURCHASE

Once approved, please provide your Bookkeeper the necessary information to make the purchase. Please note that if Title funds are used, the service MUST be evidence-based.

Bookkeepers will send an email with the following information to _SoftwareApproval

  1. In the Subject Line include your School/Department Name and the name of the software, online support (subscription) or iPad/Tablet app

  2. In the body of the email:

    1. School/Dept.
    2. Vendor
    3. Service or Software Name
    4. Subscription dates
    5. State that the vendor is on the Approved Digital Instructional Resource List
    6. A copy of the quote from the vendor the shows the number of licenses or seats that are being purchased and subscription start and end dates attached to the email
    7. (If an iPad app purchase) The account strip that is to be used to fund the purchase of the app

Approved Digital Instructional Resource List

This process is from School Board Policy 4.21+.

If a product is NOT on the Approved Digital Instructional Resource list, these steps displayed below are to be followed by the educator wishing to purchase or pilot it.

Please note that if Title funds are used, the service MUST be research- and evidence-backed.

Request for New Digital Instructional Resource

Please be aware that the Request process for the 2023-2024 school year has closed and any requests placed after April 26, 2024 will not be approved by the District Digital Instructional Resource Committee until after the start of the 2024-2025 school year.

Please complete the following questions to request an approval for an application. Please be patient as requests require a lengthy process to verify the applications' validity and security risks.

DISTRICT EMPLOYEE/SCHOOL REQUEST-All SRCDS employees requesting new software/programs.
Please note that application requests require at least 4 weeks processing time.
SUBMISSION DOES NOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL
